SAGE Weaving Connections: Ecocide in Palestine

The event will be the first in a series of workshops dedicated to discussing sustainability and climate problems through an interdisciplinary and socially just lens – addressing environmental injustice around the world. This specific event will be focusing on the ecocide currently taking place in Palestine by Israel (aided by foreign powers), and how environmental destruction has been used as a tool for genocide and Indigenous erasure by settler colonialists throughout history. We also hope to connect this to the ecocide that has happened (and still continues to happen) on Turtle Island and across the world.
